Week 8

The first week on a new blogging platform 👀

This week I took some time (one day) off to rest and recover, and basically spent it listening to true crime podcasts. y i k e s.

I also started taking more of a look at Vanilla Extract, an interesting CSS-in-JS framework that is less CSS-in-JS and more CSS powered by JS. I’m really excited by the possibilities afforded by this second generation of libraries that combine the best of CSS (static style sheets) with the type safety and static analysis you can get from Typescript.

Getting pretty concerned about the new COVID variant, so this was a good read.
